How do we ship our Chocolate Gold Coins?

Morkes Chocolates wants you to have an amazing experience with your milk chocolate coins. Each of our chocolate coin orders is handmade, and we want you to enjoy them fresh. Because chocolate is sensitive to heat, we take special care when shipping.

When do we ship the chocolate coin orders?

When an order is placed before 12:00 pm CST, we try to ship it out the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 pm CST will be shipped the next business day. We do not ship on Fridays to avoid weekend delays, so any orders placed on Friday will be shipped the next business day.

To ensure you receive your chocolate gold coins in the best quality possible, we ship them on certain days of the week, depending on the distance:

• No shipments will go out on Fridays. 
• We ship Monday through Thursday for Illinois shipments, out-of-state locations within 1-day standard ground service from our store, and Next Day Air orders.
• For all other shipments, and dependent on the scheduled delivery time, we will not ship on Wednesday unless the location is within a 2-day ground schedule or a guaranteed 2-day or overnight preference. 
• Please remember that Saturdays and Sundays are NOT part of the shipping schedule; only business days are included when determining shipment arrival date.

Have someone available to receive the chocolate coins

Please make sure someone will be available to receive the chocolate coin order when it is delivered. If no one is home, the delivery person will leave the package outside, and the chocolate coins may melt!

Melted chocolate coins may lose their shape, and the imprints on the coins may get deformed.

Shipping in warm weather

Between April 1st and October 30th, or longer based on our discretion and the weather, a reusable frozen gel pack will be included in the packaging. A cold pack fee of $8.00 will be added during checkout.

Our milk chocolate coins are known for being delicious, good-looking, and high-quality. We do not outsource our chocolate and put it in coin molds. We make everything from scratch.
