When we make this caramel from scratch we keep added moisture in the batch so that you just remove the lid, place it into the microwave for about 5 minutes and it's ready. Great for making caramel apples or for your own version of the popular 'turtle' candy. Want a great ice cream topping? Just add a couple more tablespoons of water, heat and pour over your favorite ice cream. Can be reheated 2 to 3 times.
